questions below is designed to help you
create and maintain your ad, and answer
questions about costs and technical details.

Scammers are known to use services such as ours to perpetrate
their crimes. One such scam involves offering to deposit money
in your bank in excess of the value of your vehicle, asking
you to forward the difference to them. If it sounds too good
to be true, it's because it is! Unfortunately, in order for
us to provide unobstructed communications between buyers and
sellers, we cannot prevent these messages getting through.
We ALWAYS refer scammers using our service to the FBI, and
we advise you to avoid any contact with the senders of such
messages and refer complaints to your local FBI office, either
directly or at http://www.fbi.gov.
In Canada, contact the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
Please be advised that we
do not sell or otherwise provide anyone with access to the
email addresses of our sellers or buyers, for any purpose
whatsoever.
WHAT
DOES ADVERTISING ON RVTRADER.COM COST?
For only $45 your ad will be seen world-wide
for 30 days or Advertise until SOLD for
Only $99.00 (Best value) This includes
up to 10 pictures and a 200 word description.
You can also include a link to your own
web site URL.
You can add extra visibility or priority options
to your ad very inexpensively.
If you want to make your ad even more noticed,
bold your caption header so it shows up more on
a list. That costs an additional $9.98, and your
caption header both bold and red is $14.95.
Extra Priority Options give your ad display
priority. Your ad will be featured on our home
page "Front Row" section on a rotation basis.
If your ad has a picture it will also in our featured
picture ads. Due to the number of ads we cannot
display all priority ads at one time. All this
exposure for $24.95.
Ads posted to "Wanted" and "Parts" are
FREE. Please post to the appropriate
category, as ads posted to the wrong category
will be deleted.
HOW
DO I UPLOAD IMAGES TO MY AD?
In order to upload images to your ad, go to the home page and follow
these steps: 1. Click on "Sign In" or
"Edit your Ad" on the left side
of the navigation menu. 2. Enter your Username and Password (if you are not already
logged in.) 3. Click on the blue "Edit Pictures"
link for the ad you would like to edit. 4. Click the "Browse" button to navigate
to the picture you want to upload. 5. Repeat for all of your Pictures. 6. Click on the "Upload" button at
the bottom of the page. Once you have selected all of the pictures.
Depending on the size of your file and the speed of your Internet
connection, it may take a minute or two to upload. If you are having problems
try uploading only two or three pictures at a time.
Your changes will take effect immediately. In order to view them in
your browser, you may have to refresh your page.
If you are having trouble getting your images successfully uploaded,
it usually means they are in the wrong format. Here are the specifications
for the site:
IMAGES:
* must be in .GIF or .JPG format
If after trying the above you still cannot get them uploaded, you
can send them to us to insert in your ad.

Please Note: Because
ad renewal requires payment authorization,
the process of renewing your ad must be done
by yourself on the web site. We do not hold
any credit card numbers or information on
file from past transactions.
In order to renew your ad on RVTrader.com,
go to the home page at http://www.RVTrader.com
and follow these steps: 1. Click the "Renew Your Ad" link on
the left side navigation menu. 2. Sign in using your Username and
Password (If you haven't already). 3. Click on the blue "renew"
link for the ad you would like to Renew. 4. If you would like to upgrade Visibility
or Priority select them from the pull down
menus and click "Proceed" 5. Fill in your Credit Card information
at Internet Secure. 6. When you're finished, click "Submit"
at the bottom of the page.
Your changes will take effect immediately.

DO I MODIFY MY AD?
In order to edit
or modify your ad on RVTrader.com, go to the
home page and follow these steps: 1.
Click the "Edit your Ad" link on the left
side navigation menu. 2.
Enter your Username and Password if you haven't
already done so. 3.
You should now be in the "User Area" 4.
Click the blue "modify"
link. 6.
Make the changes to your ad. 7.When
you're finished, click "Submit" at the bottom
of the page.

By clicking
on "RVs For Sale", you will be able to browse
through all of the ads for a particular
type of motor home. All of you have to do
is click on the type of RV you would like
to search for and find the RV of your Dreams.
Another option
is to use the Advanced Search, this will
allow to search for RVs in many different
ways. You can search by Type of RV, Location,
Make, Model, Price, Length or use the keyword
field to search for certain features an
RV may have. The Keyword search can also
be used for entering Ad numbers to directly
go to particular ads. When using the Keyword
search sometimes certain RVs can be missed
because some people will use "pop up" and
"popup" to describe the same thing. This
is where common sense has to take over.
HOW
DO I GET MY USERNAME AND PASSWORD?
If you require
your username and password, you can click
on the link "Did you forget?" on any of
the log-in pages, and the program will send
an email to you with your password information.
You can check
prices of used campers, motor homes, trailers
and other rv's by doing the following: 1. Clicking on the NADA Guides link
on right side of the page. NADA Guides have
information for all types of used RVs, including
motor homes, camping trailers, travel trailers,
truck campers and fifth wheels or you can
go to their site directly at http://www.nadaguides.com.
2. Kelly Blue Book has a site at
http://www.kbb.com.

For Canadian RV's you can take the NADA
price and multiply it by 1.32 to get Canadian
Dollars.
HOW
WILL POTENTIAL BUYERS CONTACT ME?
Buyers will contact
you through the information that you submit
(phone number, e-mail) when you register.
A person with an inquiry can click on the
link "Reply to Ad" in the details
section of your ad. They will then enter
their email address and any questions or
offers they have for your listing. This
inquiry will be sent directly to your email
address. The buyers can also contact you
by telephone if you choose to display that
information.
If you sell your
Vehicle you can contact
us including your ad number and someone
will mark the RV as sold. You also may delete
or modify your ad at anytime by using your
ad number and password.
WHAT
IS AUTO NOTIFY?
The Auto-Notify
feature allows you to set up a personal
search agent that will automatically send
you new ads that match the keywords that
you define.
The Favorites
feature allows you to keep track of all
of your favorite ads. In the details of
every ads there is a check box labeled"add
to favorites" on the left hand side.
By clicking on this box, the ad will be
added to your user account under favorites
in the user area. Please Note: You will
first have create a folder for the favorites
in the user area. You can do this by signing
in and clicking on the "favorites"
link.
WHEN I PLACED AN AD I HAD A DUPLICATE AD, DID I PAY FOR TWO?
No, you will not pay for two ads. The reason this happens
is because people tend to double click the submit button
when placing an ad. This causes the system to send the
ad information twice. When you proceed to the payment area
you will never pay for two ads at once.
